Prags: wild, free and natural!

There is so much to see and do in the Prags Valley – the Pragser Wildsee lake, the Plätzwiese plateau, the entire Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park and the Three Peaks Family Park – all year round.

In the summertime – destinations to suit all the family

In summer there are colourful fantasy worlds to enjoy – the playgrounds in and around Prags, the Adventureland, the WaldWunderWelt in Toblach, the Haunold – the family fun mountain with its summer toboggan run, or the climbing course for kids… Yes, there is no end of entertainment, because Prags in the Dolomites has it all! By the way, there are pedalos and paddleboats for hire on the Pragser Wildsee and Toblach lakes, so you can shout “Ahoy” and hear the mountains echo you call! Summer here is full of fun – there is also of course the weekly hiking programme and cycling, with bikes for hire!

In the wintertime – from jingle bells to rock’n'roll on the slopes

There is always plenty of snow in the cold months in the Prags and Upper Pustertal  valleys, which is why a family holiday in winter also makes for great fun. The clearly marked slopes of the little ski resort at Prags are perfect for families with small children; there is also a 6-km cross-country ski trail on the Plätzwiese plateau, ski touring on the Dürrenstein mountain and the merry mountain Christmas atmosphere at the Pragser Wildsee lake – be sure not to miss out on its natural winter magic. Those seeking a more rock’n’roll flavour on the pistes should head for the Drei Zinnen Dolomites ski area, the Haunold mountain with its family-friendly ski runs or, of course, the Kronplatz – they will all turn your holiday into an absolute winter wonderland.
