The Wiwi-wonderland is a real insiders’ tip for a unique outdoor family holiday. You will be thrilled by this natural playground’s fancy wooden playground equipment: from bee and snail swings, a mammoth horse, a giant sandbox and a wooden climbing tractor to the ropeway, outdoor trampoline, football and volleyball court. You will fall in love with the gentle look of our alpacas, Wiwi and Dina. They are part of our family and live outside the large garden in the surroundings of the Apartment-Hotel Winklwiese. There you can also take the bunnies out of their hutch and pet them. And when we go trekking with Wiwi and Dina, even the laziest kids become excited hikers!
Exciting, enchanting and challenging: the new Kids World Olang – Valdaora holds the key to the children’s happiness. Take Robin Hood as your role model and stroll through the 3D archery range “Kron Arc Adventure”. While hunting the 3D wild animals with bow and arrow you will learn about archery and lots of new things about the forest and its inhabitants.

Take a deep breath and… Go! On a tube down the curvy slope! The magic carpet brings you back up the hill for another ride! Amazing! You will leap for joy on the giant trampoline with inflated air cushion. The Kids Area Panorama is only 300 metres away from the Apartment-Hotel: you can access it for a small fee in the summer.
Summer, sun, swimming pool! Enjoy the free entry to the heated open-air swimming pool (25°C) of Olang – Valdaora. It features a fabulous pool with artificial waves, underwater loungers and a children’s pool. We also hand out free Tennis-Cards for the sand court or the synthetic turf tennis court. Playing matches in the summer evening sun – wonderful!
There is a lot that we propose during the summer: every week you can learn about grain and bread while baking traditional bread, learn about indigenous herbs during an herb excursion and let off steam in the adventure park at the Kronplatz – Plan de Corones. In the winter we recommend torchlight hikes and snowshoeing.
If you are looking for a trip to satisfy the whole family, then you should visit Olang – Valdaora, the Number 1 Active Family Village in South Tyrol. It is the place-to-be when it comes to hiking at the Kronplatz – Plan de Corones, biking tours or visiting the Messner Mountain Museum in Bruneck – Brunico. The snowy ski fun at Baranci in Innichen – San Candido is only 3 minutes on foot away from our Dolomite Apartments. In the summer, Baranci is the family adventure mountain with the summer toboggan run “Fun Bob”, a climbing parkour for children under 8 years of age, the tubing run near the Riese Haunold Hutte – Rif. Gigante Baranci, as well as a barefoot parkour. You will live special moments in the children’s mountain village “Kinderalm” at Mt. Elmo, the weekly Adventure Day at the Braies Lake and the reindeer feeding throughout the whole year at the Croda Rossa.
