World cup fright! Every January the world’s best athletes get together at the BMW IBU Biathlon World Cup in Antholz – Anterselva only 20 km from Olang – Valdaora to compete against each other in the individual race, the sprint, pursuit racing, mass start and relay. Thousands of fans cheer on their stars. Be there, too!

In June: Cortina-Dobbiaco-Run

A fascinating running-event! The start of the famous Cortina-Dobbiaco Run is only 49 km away from us. From there the run takes you 30 km uphill to the Passo Cimabianche at 1,530 m, down to the Lake Landro, further to the Dobbiaco Lake and finally to the finish in Toblach – Dobbiaco where big cheers welcome the athletes. Of course, there are also competitions for kids and teens.

In July: Dolomiti Superbike

It’s the most challenging MTB race in South Tyrol. Nevertheless, or perhaps because of that, every year more than 4,000 mountain-bikers, experts and amateurs, participate in the Dolomiti Superbike in Niederdorf – Villabassa.
Over the long or short distance, up and down hundreds and thousands of metres, in-midst the impressive landscape of the Dolomites. This race is truly legendary!
